Hands-on CPR and first aid training for ages 16 and over, and skill level in a short period.
When a workplace first aid risk assessment shows the need for an Emergency First Aider, this one‑day qualification meets the standards set out in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Learners will develop the essential knowledge and practical skills required to manage a variety of first aid situations that may occur in the workplace.
The FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work serves as Unit 1 of the full three‑day FAA Award in First Aid at Work. After completing this qualification, learners can progress to Unit 2 and achieve the full FAA Award in First Aid at Work.
Essential first aid competencies specifically designed for emergencies involving infants and children. This qualification is intended for individuals responsible for caring for young children and babies, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond to a wide range of paediatric first aid situations.
The FAA Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid serves as Unit 1 of the full two‑day FAA Award in Paediatric First Aid. By completing this emergency qualification, learners can continue on to Unit 2 and achieve the full two‑day FAA Award in Paediatric First Aid.

When a workplace first aid risk assessment shows that a First Aider is required, this three‑day qualification satisfies the standards set out in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
Learners will develop the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to handle a wide range of first aid situations in the workplace.
This qualification is intended for individuals who professionally care for infants and young children. Its aim is to equip learners with the essential knowledge and hands‑on skills needed to respond effectively to a wide variety of paediatric first aid situations.
This two‑day, 12‑hour course meets the first aid training requirements outlined in the Department for Education’s Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Learners who complete this qualification will satisfy Ofsted’s paediatric first aid expectations, though employers must still ensure that their setting has sufficient coverage from both 2‑day and 1‑day trained paediatric first aid staff.

Student First Aid is an essential skill and knowledge-based programme that every young person should attend. Whether you attend the programme at school or local community - learning how to provide first aid care will help to save lives. Providing basic first aid training ensures that every student are equip with essential first aid skills at such a young age. Students should understand:
Basic care for common injuries
Life‑saving skills, including how to perform CPR
What defibrillators are for and when they should be used
First Aid Awards (FAA) has created the FAA Award in Student First Aid, available to learners from age 12. The qualification covers CPR, safe use of an AED, choking, and common injuries such as head injuries, bleeding, fractures, sprains, and strains.
Learning first aid skills like CPR helps young people feel confident that they can step in, assist someone in need, and potentially save a life.
